Welcome to Priority Shippers
Why we built a shipping rate brokerage that passes Fortune-500-tier UPS, FedEx, and DHL pricing to businesses shipping 50+ packages a month.
Priority Shippers exists because the price a business pays per UPS or FedEx label is, in practice, a function of who you know and how much you ship — not what a label costs the carrier to move.
Why we built this
A Fortune 500 shipper sending half a million packages a year negotiates rates 30–50% below the published retail sheet. A 100-packages-a-month e-commerce brand pays within a few percent of retail. Same UPS truck, same driver, wildly different cost per label.
Priority Shippers is a brokerage. We hold UPS, FedEx, and DHL contracts priced at aggregated enterprise volume, and we pass that pricing through to customers shipping as few as 50 packages a month. There's a small transparent margin on every label, disclosed line-by-line on your weekly invoice. No subscription, no minimum, no setup fee.
What you'll find in this blog
This space will cover:
- How carrier volume-discount tiers actually work
- Benchmarks on typical savings by vertical (meat distribution, seafood, e-commerce, expedited air)
- Carrier rate change announcements and how to read them
- Specific shipping lane economics (NY → LA, coast-to-coast air, international)
If you want to skip the reading and see numbers, check your rate with a recent invoice and we'll send a line-by-line comparison within one business day.
